Our 2017 New Year’s Resolution at Cycle 6 is to stay committed to fitness by experiencing a different fitness class, or fitness related activity, once a month! Our intention is to expand our horizons and we encourage you to come along with us and try new things; everyone is welcome to join!

Once a month we will determine the place, date, and time for our monthly adventure. Remember there is limited space in most classes, so first come first serve. Our Inspiration For This Year's Resolution

A couple of things transpired to inspire us to set up a different fitness experience once a month:

Angela, one of the indoor cycling instructors here at Cycle 6 made a 2016 New Year’s Resolution to do a different class or fitness related activity once a week, each week, for the entire year. She committed to her resolution and created a hashtag (#52weeksoffitnessandhealth) to document her experiences so she could share with others, and keep herself accountable. Although we had been aware of Angela’s amazing idea we didn’t really think to do something similar until one of our passionate clients saw a viral Facebook post about AQUA Studio. AQUA Studio uniquely offers indoor cycling classes that are done in a pool that is 4-feet deep, with natural resistance from the water and complete buoyancy. After doing some research she found out AQUA Studio is located right in TriBeCa NY. She reached out to the coordinator of the facility to set-up a private class for Cycle 6! The group that made it to AQUA Studio to try out a class had such a great time doing something unique and new.

With a little push from our client to try something different and Angela’s successful 2016 New Year’s Resoulution, we were inspired to set-up opportunities to try different fitness related activities every month as a group!

Warrior Dash

What: If you’ve already completed an Obstacle Course Race, or if you have ever considered doing one, join us on May 20th as we tackle the Warrior Dash in Warwick NY. If you want to learn more about the Warrior Dash and what to expect, read below, or check our their website here!

Whether you’re an elite athlete or just beginning the challenge, you’ll conquer 12 world-class obstacles like Goliath and Fisherman’s Catch, wade across wooded lakes, and venture through mud-caked backroads as you make your loop to the finish line.

When: Saturday, May 20th @ 10:30 AM
